LIBRARIES

The Reading Nook

Book-Lovers' Anthology. Oxford UP, 1911. Print.

Sidney Sheldon quotes " Libraries store the energy that feeds the imagination.  They open up

windows to the world and inspire us to explore and achieve, and contribute to improving our

quality of life."  Every book in the library has a distinct number and assigned a certain

place on the shelf.  It is checked in and out of the library in a precise procedure based on the

personal interests and choice of the reader.

Reading enhances our level of reasoning, and critical thinking.  The article is complete with how
to set up rich reading corners in the classroom that are appealing to the readers and are easy

to maintain at the same time.  The systematic display of books and other reading materials

can be modified based on the learning environment in class  to benefit a Homeschool group,

one-on-one tutoring  or a different model of  group learning.  The appropriate selection of

literary works can spark a sense of fun and joy to dream, achieve and do more.  Be resourceful

and spread literacy !!!
